Why Omnion
Most consulting firms focus on installing and implementing software. When the software is running adequately, their job is done.

Even though it is the best ERP software available for most middle-market companies, the anticipated high ROI from the Oracle E-Business Suite will not occur naturally. If ERP software is to achieve its potential, time must also be spent challenging legacy business processes, seeking to enhance all processes and adapting the organization to focus on continuous process improvement.

1. Business Process Improvements (BPI).
Omnion means "all processes" and Omnion puts "processes" at the core of its business model (See Chart 1.). Using leading-practice tools and methodologies, including Lean Manufacturing, TQM® and Route Cause, we review processes in detail and identify process improvements as the first step in most engagements. Our methodologies and the scope of our work are customized to fit the client's needs.

2. Change Management.
"People" occupy the second ring in our business model, because technology is only as good as the people who use it. If employees lack a full understanding of how to operate the ERP system, it will never produce the ROI it is capable of producing.

But technical training is only the beginning. Employees need to understand what is expected of them and what ERP can accomplish for their organization. They need to understand that their organization is being transformed - and they need to be inspired to embrace such change.

That can be accomplished only if top management embraces change first. We work with all levels of an organization, but start with C-level executives to ensure that they are driving the project from start to finish.

3. The Oracle E-Business Suite.
"Technology," the third ring in our business model, makes the improvements we've identified possible.

The E-Business Suite provides a complete set of applications capable of automating any function in a company's business processes. It is the ideal ERP technology for most middle-market companies. It is fully integrated, scalable and configurable, so it can be adapted for use by almost any business - and it can expand as your business needs grow or change.
